Open the 'AIphoto' main interface, select the 'Monitoring Directory', and click the 'Start' button. Images and specific files in the 'Monitoring Directory' can be browsed through the web.
For large images or file types supported by 'AIphoto', 'AIphoto' generates corresponding cache files. When users browse images, opening and switching files is faster.
Modifications such as rotating or marking (features to be added in the future) made to images in 'AIphoto' are applied to the cached images, not the source files in the monitoring directory, ensuring data security of the source files.
We not only support converting image files to web browsing but also support some specific other file types. For example, both Windows and macOS systems support PDF files; on Windows, after installing 'Microsoft Office', ppt and word file types are also supported. More file types will be added in the future.
Since local images are converted to web access, it can be used as a small team or company internal resource publication, facilitating access by users within the local network.
It can be installed on computers not connected to the internet and used on those computers only; it can also be used within a local network without internet access. Considering user security and privacy, this software permanently supports usage without internet connectivity.
'AIphoto' requires setting up a monitoring directory. It will generate cache files for images and other supported file types in the monitoring directory, enabling web browsing.
After the software is launched, files in the monitoring directory need to generate corresponding cache files. The cache file location defaults to the '00_Cache_Folder' folder in the 'AIphoto' installation directory. You can point the cache directory to any location, but please remember that all data from operations like rotating or marking images (to be added in later versions) is stored in the cache directory.
If you delete files in the monitoring directory, data about this file in the cache directory will also be deleted;
If you move or rename files in the monitoring directory, data about this file in the cache directory will not be deleted.
If you modify files in the monitoring directory, data about this file in the cache directory will be reset.
You can start or stop this program. After starting, it will immediately scan files in the monitoring directory and update the cache files; every hour thereafter, it will perform a scan and update.
Click to open 'AIphoto' access through a browser on the computer where the service is installed. Detailed access settings can be adjusted on the 'Settings' page.
By default, it will use port 80 on this machine for publishing. When the program starts, it will automatically perform a publishing check. If the port number is changed, please click on the publishing check to test.
This feature will perform two checks:
(1) Check if the port is in conflict, and if so, add '1' to the existing port number until a non-conflicting port number is found;
(2) On Windows, a new firewall rule will be created, and its port number will be changed to the detected available port number.
When enabled, users cannot download images and files through the browser.
Currently, this software supports 9 languages. When using this software in a browser, the language cannot be changed by the user and must be set in the settings option.
During the initial testing phase, only an email address needs to be provided. In future updates, more AI drawing features will be added, and early email submissions will offer more services during future registrations.
Each time the program starts, it will check the latest version number from the official website.
